Ordinance of occupation, 1861 Mar. 20.

The collection consists of the ordinance transferring to the provisional government of the Confederate States of America, the use and occupation of forts, arsenals, navy yards, custom houses, and public sites within the State of Georgia. The ordinance was passed on March 20, 1861 by the Secession Convention and signed by George W. Crawford, President of the Convention.
